Subject: Jostens Trophy Nominations
Importance: HighAs each of may know, I am part of the Salem Rotary Club and a founding member of the Jostens Trophy Committee. Each year I write to solicit the DIII Commissioners' help in gathering nominations for the Jostens Trophy - which recognizes the most outstanding male and female DIII basketball players in the country. The award is presented in Salem Virginia on Thursday, March 20.
The local organizing committee recently mailed nomination forms to all DIII Basketball Directors of Athletics. We have already started to receive inquiries. In an effort to bolster this process, I ask that you work with your ADs and SIDs to encourage nominations for the awards. The information package can be found on the award website located at the link below:

In addition, I have attached a nomination form and timeline for the award. The nomination deadline is Feb. 15, 2008.
** FYI -- In recognition of this group's contributions to the Division, The Commissioner's Association is represented on the national selection committee - This year's reps are John Cochrane and Andrea Savage.
