It has come to our attention that there have been some unanticipated delays in the distribution of the Division III Membership Survey. While the surveys left the NCAA Distribution Center on Friday, February 8,th,the surveys have arrived on some campuses only recently.
The survey will play a key role in the deliberations on the future membership structure of Division III. Therefore, it is important that institutions be afforded adequate time to consider these complex issues and formulate their responses.
Therefore, we are extending the deadline for the return of the surveys to March 7th. We hope that this additional week will help to ensure a thoughtful and thorough response to the survey questions. In addition, please note that surveys returned after March 7 will still be accepted, although they might not be included in the first round of analysis by the governance structure.
