Brown named AD3I women’s basketball Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Trinity Washington University freshman forward Ashley Brown (Washington, D.C.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week. Brown nearly averaged a double-double on the week with 23 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3 steals per contest. She led her team with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals in a loss to Catholic on Jan. 19, but helped her team produce a 69-55 win over Lancaster Bible later in the week. She tallied 26 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals in the victory.
