Keltner earns AD3I men’s basketball Player of the Week award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lancaster Bible College junior guard Kevin Keltner (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents men’s basketball Player of the Week. Keltner led the Chargers to a 2-1 record on the week, including victories over Mount Aloysius and Gallaudet. He averaged 17.3 points, 6.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game and he currently leads the team in scoring average with 15.4 points per contest.

 

Sczepanski named AD3I women’s basketball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas junior forward Cara Sczepanski (Highland Village, Texas) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week. In a pair of games on the week, Sczepanski averaged 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists per game, registering one double-double. In her double-double performance, she tallied 23 points and a season-high 21 boards and moved into second place on the UD career scoring list.

The Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week awards program begins on August 31, 2009, and is based on nominations from the organization's member schools.
