KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas sophomore guard/forward Cara Sczepanski (Highland Village, Texas) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week. Sczepanski averaged 21.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest in a pair of Crusader victories on the week. She shot 42.9% from the field (12-of-28) and 76.0% from the charity stripe (19-of-25). She also added five steals, four assists and one block.
