Harrington earns another Association of Division III Independents men’s basketball Player of the Week honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Southern Vermont College senior forward Nick Harrington (Brooklyn, N.Y.) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents men’s basketball Player of the Week. Harrington averaged 27.7 points and 18.7 rebounds per game over three contests on the week. Additionally, he shot 68% (34-of-50) from the floor and 79% (15-of-19) from the free throw line. Harrington registered 20 points and 18 rebounds in a loss at Mitchell and also scored 29 points and tallied 19 boards in a loss to Green Mountain. He also scored 34 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in 28 minutes of play in a win over Word of Life Biblical Institute.

 

Osley named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mount Mary College sophomore point guard Jordan Osley (Milwaukee, Wis.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week. Osley averaged 28 points, 6.5 assists and five steals per contest in a pair of games on the week. She tallied 34 points, eight assists and three steals versus Grace Bible College, leading all scorers, and she shot 64% (7-of-11) from three-point range. In Mount Mary’s second game of the week, Osley led her team in scoring with 22 points, five assists and seven steals as she shot 43% (3-of-7) from beyond the arc. On the week, Osley shot a blistering 56% from three-point range.
