Davidson named AD3I baseball Player of the WeekKANSAS CITY, Mo. – St. Joseph’s College (N.Y.) senior third baseman/pitcher Chris Davidson (San Carlos, Calif.) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week. Davidson helped his team to a pair of wins on the week, highlighted by a 4-for-4 performance in a 19-4 win over Emerson, where he had nine RBI and a grand slam. He also grabbed the win on the mound by pitching 5.0 innings and allowing just three earned runs. For the week, Davidson tallied a .579 batting average (11-for-19), a .789 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage. He also produced 11 RBI, four runs scored and a steal. He is now on a seven-game hitting streak.

Chiaramonte selected as AD3I softball Player of the WeekKANSAS CITY, Mo. – St. Joseph’s College (N.Y.) sophomore pitcher/outfielder Alyson Chiaramonte (Staten Island, N.Y.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week. Chiaramonte led the Lady Bears to a 4-0 record on the week as she collected a .727 batting average (8-for-11), a .727 slugging percentage and a .769 on-base percentage. She scored seven runs and recorded six RBI and two stolen bases. On the mound, Chiaramonte tossed 9.0 scoreless innings on her way to a pair of wins and 20 strikeouts.
