Cascini earns second Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week award

Cascini went 2-0 on the mound last week and helped NWU win all six of its games. He allowed just 10 total hits, five walks and one run in 14 innings pitched (0.64 ERA). A double at Mt. His 12 strikeouts in the two wins improved his team-leading total to 39. For the season, Cascini is now 4-2, and at 15-8 overall, NWU has already surpassed its 2006 win total.
