Fogerty earns Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas junior shortstop/pitcher Tom Fogerty (Parker, Colo.) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week. In four games on the week, Fogerty batted .600 (9-of-15) with three triples, one home run, five runs scored and five RBI. He produced a 1.200 slugging percentage and was walked three times, giving him a .667 on-base percentage for the season. On the mound, he threw three innings of scoreless relief and struck out four batters. He earned two of the team’s three wins on the week.

 

Tiedgen named Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nebraska Wesleyan University senior pitcher Ashley Tiedgen (Lincoln, Neb.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week. Tiedgen was 3-1 on the mound with a 0.64 ERA for the week. She threw a no-hitter in an 8-0 victory over Mt. Marty College. Tiedgen struck out 17 and walked just six in 22.0 innings of work. She posted three straight wins without allowing an earned run.
