Cook earns Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Southern Vermont College freshman catcher Dan Cook (Watervliet, N.Y.) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week. Cook accumulated 14 hits on the week, culminating in a .438 batting average. He recorded three doubles, nine RBI, nine runs scored and committed zero errors. He also caught three base runners stealing. On the year, Cook leads his team in hits, batting average and RBI.

 

Coghlan named Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas freshman pitcher/utility player Michaela Coghlan (Dallas, Texas) has been named the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week. In four games on the week, Coghlan batted .538 (7-for-13) with a pair of doubles, four RBI and four runs scored. She also had a .692 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage. On the mound, she struck out five batters in six innings of work to earn one win.
