PATRICK McGINNIS Senior forward Patrick McGinnis of Colorado College is the Association of Division III Independents Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season after posting a line that many players don't have in a full season. In the game, he set a career-high by scoring five goals, marking the fourth time this season he has scored at least a hat-trick in a single game. The Tigers trailed 2-1 in the game before tallying five unanswered goals. He also assisted in the winning goal in CC's 2-1 victory against Carleton College on September 30. He finished the week with 11 points on the five goals and one assist. McGinnis has scored an amazing 20 goals this year, including four game-winners, and he has assisted on two other winning goals. He ranks tied for seventh on the school's single-season scoring list with nine games remaining, and is tied for eighth in career goals scored with 44.
