Jedlicka named Association of Division III Independents volleyball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore setter Ashley Jedlicka (Schuyler, Neb.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents volleyball Player of the Week. Jedlicka averaged 10.25 assists per set and 2.67 digs per set at 20th-ranked NWU went 2-1 on the week. She posted double-doubles in all three matches, just missing a triple-double in a 3-0 win over Dakota Wesleyan with 38 assists, 10 digs and eight kills. For the week she had 123 assists, 32 digs, 16 kills and eight total blocks in three matches.

The Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week awards program begins on August 31, 2009, and is based on nominations from the organization's member schools.
