Meske earns Association of Division III Independents men’s soccer Player of the Week honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas junior midfielder/forward Ryan Meske (Niwot, Colo.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents men’s soccer Player of the Week. In three games, Meske led his team with two goals and four assists. The Crusaders went 2-1 on the week, but lost in two overtimes in the North Eastern Athletic Conference championship game.

 

Fuchs named Association of Division III Independents volleyball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas sophomore right side hitter Danielle Fuchs (St. Charles, Mo.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents volleyball Player of the Week. Fuchs led her squad in kills with 58 and had just 14 errors in 122 attempts, leaving her with a .341 attack percentage over five matches. She also led the team in service aces with 10, and added 39 digs and nine block assists. Fuchs averaged 3.87 kills and 2.6 digs per set on the week as the Crusaders went 5-0 and claimed the North Eastern Athletic Conference championship.

The Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week awards program begins on August 31, 2009, and is based on nominations from the organization's member schools.
