Pritchard earns Association of Division III Independents men’s basketball Player of the Week award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dallas junior point guard Jeff Pritchard (Frisco, Texas) is this week’s Association of Division III Independents men’s basketball Player of the Week. In two games, Pritchard averaged 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. On the week, he converted on 6-of-13 three-point field goals, good enough for a 46.2 percentage. He also added five assists and three steals.

Riutta named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Finlandia University junior forward Jodi Riutta (Houghton, Mich.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week. Riutta averaged 21.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals over three games on the week. Her best performance came against Wisconsin Lutheran College when she produced a double-double with 29 points and 14 rebounds, along with five assists and a pair of steals. She connected on 14-of-19 field goals (73.7%), helping her to a 57.7 shooting percentage on the week.
