OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Association of Division III Independents named University of Maine-Presque Isle baseball third baseman/outfielder Brady Rowe its Male Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of April.
Rowe, a junior from Halifax, Nova Scotia, batted .344 (22-for-64) with a .403 on base percentage on the month with six RBI, six runs scored and three doubles to key the Owls attack. The junior also stole eight bases and added seven walks in 19 games during the month. Rowe started the month with a 2-for-4 day with two RBI against Vaughn on April 1st and followed that up with a 4-for-8 afternoon with two RBI, two doubles and a run scored in a doubleheader against Valley Forge on April 2nd. The third baseman/outfielder also had a strong 4-for-5 outing with a run scored and three stolen bases at Rivier on April 17th and went a perfect 3-for-3 in a game two matchup at Fisher on April 18th.
