OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) junior forward David Louison (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents men's basketball Player of the Week. Louison, St. Joseph's leading scorer on the year, recorded his fourth double-double of the season in helping lead the Bears to a 79-54 triumph over NYU-Poly in their lone game of the week. The junior finished with 17 points on 5-of-10 (50 percent) shooting from the floor while securing 11 rebounds. The forward filled out the stat sheet with two assists, two steals and two rejections as St. Joseph's improved to 4-5 on the year. Louison is now averaging 14.1 points per game and is second on the team corralling 8.7 boards per night.
