Reimer anointed Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore shortstop Betsy Reimer (Lincoln, Neb.) has been awarded the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week. Reimer had a strong week at the plate, going 8-for-10 as Nebraska Wesleyan went 3-1 on the week. The sophomore extended her hitting streak to eight games as she batted .800 on the week. The shortstop scored four runs, was a perfect 6-for-6 on the basepaths and walked five times to record an impressive .867 on-base percentage. Reimer leads the Prairie Wolves with a .475 batting average on the season and has a team-high nine stolen bases.
