Raccuglia named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) senior forward Taylor Raccuglia (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has been selected the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Player of the Week. The versatile forward averaged 26.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 61.1 percent from the field as the Lady Bears were victorious in both games this past week. The senior tallied 23 points to go along with six boards and seven assists in St. Joseph's victory over HVIAC foe Vaughn on January 21st and followed that up with a career-high 30 points in St. Joseph's 94-71 victory over Briarcliffe, corralling nine rebounds and dishing out seven assists as the Lady Bears set three team offensive records in the victory.
