Hotham named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – University of Maine-Presque Isle junior forward Amanda Hotham (Fort Fairfield, Maine) has been selected the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Player of the Week. Hotham averaged 13.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game over the course of three games this past week. The junior scored in double figures in all three games and had her best game of the week in the Owls 50-47 victory over University of New Brunswick-St. John on January 3rd, scoring 14 points to go along with 17 rebounds on 50 percent shooting. Hotham shot 45.2 percent from the floor on the week and earns Player of the Week recognition for the second time this year.
