Brice named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The College of New Rochelle freshman guard Dar'Neisha Brice (Lexington Park, Md.) has been selected the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Player of the Week. Brice averaged 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.5 steals per game as the Blue Angels went 2-0 on the week. The freshman began the week with 27 points and six steals against Clarks Summit on Wednesday. The guard went on to post 28 points on 11-of-20 shooting in a victory over Vaughn on Thursday. Brice is now a two-time Player of the Week and leads the Association with 22.3 points per game.
