Brice named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Student-Athlete of the Month

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The College of New Rochelle freshman guard Dar'Neisha Brice (Lexington Park, Md.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Student-Athlete of the Month for January. Brice averaged 22.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.5 assists per game in six games during the month of January. The freshman scored a month-high 36 points, adding eight rebounds and four steals, as the Blue Angels earned a 74-64 victory over Davis. The guard recorded double-digit points in all but one game and scored 20 or more points four games. Brice posted 27 points against Clarks Summit and 28 points against Vaughn before ending the month with 21 points against Albany Pharmacy on January 27th. Brice receives Student-Athlete of the Month for the third straight month and leads the Association with 22.1 points per game.
