Brice named Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The College of New Rochelle sophomore guard Dar'Neisha Brice (California, Md.) has been selected the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Player of the Week. Brice posted 29.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game in three games for the Blue Angels. The sophomore began the week with a week high 31 points at CCNY on November 20th. Brice added six rebounds and four steals in the contest and followed that performance up with 29 points in 24 minutes against Old Westbury on Saturday. The guard capped off the week with 27 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals in New Rochelle's victory over Medgar Evers on Sunday.
