Francis receives Association of Division III Independents women’s soccer Player of the Week award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore goalkeeper Madi Francis (Lincoln, Neb.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women's soccer Player of the Week. Francis was strong in net for the Prairie Wolves on the week posting three shutouts as Nebraska Wesleyan went 3-1 to begin the 2014 campaign. The sophomore had seven saves each in victories over Simpson and Principia and finished the week with 20 saves, while allowing only one goal.
