Williams named Association of Division III Independents men’s soccer Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) junior defender Louis Williams (Albany, N.Y.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents men's soccer Player of the Week. Williams found the back of the net for the second time this season in St. Joseph's impressive 5-4 victory over defending HVIAC champion Albany Pharmacy on September 28th. The win marked the first time the Bears have defeated the Panthers in the all-time series and helped St. Joseph's level their record at 3-3 on the year. Williams now has four points in his inaugural campaign with the Bears and has been a key addition to the St. Joseph's backline.
