Struebing receives Association of Division III Independents women’s basketball Player of the Week award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Nebraska Wesleyan University senior center Sadie Struebing (Brainard, Neb.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women's basketball Player of the Week. Struebing averaged 18.5 points and 10 rebounds to help NWU go 2-0 on the week. She scored 18 points in a win at Doane, where the Prairie Wolves snapped their 15-game losing streak to the Tigers. Struebing then came back with a double-double of 19 points, 12 rebounds in a one-point win over Dordt. Struebing was 15-of-24 (62.5%) from the floor and also had four blocked shots in the week.
