Hernandez receives Association of Division III Independents women’s soccer Player of the Week award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Maranatha Baptist University senior midfielder/forward Alison Hernandez (Tustin, Calif.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women's soccer Player of the Week. Hernandez was a driving force of the Sabercats' two-win week, as the senior captain tallied two goals and two assists in two games. The senior had an assist at Rockford on Tuesday and ended the week with two goals and an assist against Mount Mary on Friday. On the week, Hernandez passed 50 career points, moving to 11th all-time in program history.
